Experienced Underground Shift supervisor to work in North West QLD!

An internationally renowned mining The company that focuses on the development and extraction of base metals is seeking experienced Underground Shift supervisor to work in North West QLD.

Your new role
Your new role will be full time on a 2/2 roster commute FIFO points are Townsville, Cairns or Brisbane. This role will see you allocating machinery, work areas and tasks to shift employees along with closely supervising, directing and ensuring that work is being carried out in accordance with SWI's as per instruction on mine plans. Duties may also include but are not limited to:

• Planning tasks for the shift in conjunction with the Underground Manager, Superintendent, HSEC Manager and Maintenance Manager
• complete shift reports and timesheets
• Liaise with the Operations Manager, Underground Manager, Superintendents, HSEC Manager and Maintenance Manager on issues affecting the workplace and/or work progress

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will have:

• must hold Communicate workplace information certificates (formerly S1, S2 & S3)
• current G1 Safety Induction - Metalliferous Core & Underground
• Underground Hardrock mining experience & appropriate tickets/licences in the relevant position they are applying for
• Valid manual drivers licence
