We are currently looking for a new full time HR team member to join us in delivering our specialised services.

What you'll be doing

Responsibilities will include directing and supporting clients in the development and implementation of HR programs as well as:

Best practice research and advice to ensure Award and legislative compliance

HR/ER/IR advice and coaching to our clients

Conduct best practice performance and disciplinary management, including exposure to complex investigations

Supporting a range of staff at designated clients, from CEO/Board level to junior staff

Providing advice compliant with relevant legislation and support to clients regarding employee relations issues such as performance management, dispute resolution, employee promotions and role changes, misconduct issues and termination of employment, and prepare any relevant documentation

Review, coordinate and maintain training requirements across the organisation

Provide advice around the management of performance review cycles and regular talent assessment and succession planning activities as required

Providing advice in the relevant standards, EBAs, regulatory requirements, code of practices, and guidelines.

What you'll need

This is an excellent opportunity for a HR generalist with 5+ years’ experience and comfort in managing IR/ER matters who is looking for a variety of work.

You will need to be a self-starter with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines. You will be passionate about creating an impact and delivering solutions. You will need a strong commercial acumen with excellent communication skills.

Tertiary qualification and/or equivalent job-related experience across a variety of industries

Knowledge of various areas of HR including benefits, employment, pay-related practices/process, legislation interpretation, disciplinary and performance management, compensation and company policies and procedures

Exceptional communications skills, time management and attention to detail

Strong ability to adapt to new systems

Ability to develop a cooperative work relationship with key stakeholders

The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues

Ability to work autonomously

Ability to travel
