We are seeking a Chef/Cook to join our Catering team. As a part of our catering team you will work closely with the Head Chef and Catering manager to achieve The Tradies & Quality Hotel objectives:

Following quality control procedures, receiving and the storage of goods.

Maintain high level hygiene controls.

Participating in regular stock takes.

Communicating with various departments regarding catering requirements.

Responsible for keeping the kitchen areas and store areas to a meticulous level of cleanliness.

To be successful in this role you will:

Be a team player willing to help where required.

Have proven experience cooking in a commercial kitchen.

A willingness to help and develop in all kitchen stations.

Proven experience on grill.

Proven experience on pans, larder and fryer.

Relevant training and certificates.

Ability to work alone in a café environment.

Roster Expectations:

Part-time position available, full-time for the right candidate.

Mix of café shifts and Bistro lunch shifts.

Position is Monday to Friday with a mix of 10AM and 7AM start times.

Positions will be Cook Grade 2 - 3 dependent on experience and skill level, as per Registered and Licensed Clubs Award.
