$36.80 to $43.00 per hour + salary packaging | Occupational Therapist - Grade 1
Full Time Fixed Term | 40 hours per week with a monthly ADO
Parental Leave coverage from 7 July 2025 to 7 July 2026
About the Role
Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking an enthusiastic Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our Grade 1 rotational program, which includes structured rotations across acute, rehabilitation, community, and home based care settings. The role is designed to support early career development through regular 1:1 supervision, a fortnightly tutorial program, and regular in service education. You'll work closely with senior staff and peers, build strong professional relationships, and be part of a collaborative and welcoming Allied Health team.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess and deliver client centred occupational therapy care
• Support planning, goal setting and care coordination
• Participate in in-services, supervision, and tutorials
• Liaise with clients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Prioritise caseload based on clinical need
• Assist with quality improvement activities
Skills & Experience
• Bachelor in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Victorian driver's licence
• Effective communicator and team collaborator
• Committed to reflective practice and ongoing learning
