The job is a seasonal position starting June 10th 2025 and finishing at the end of the crushing season, expected to be December 2025. The intake for the season includes the possibility of transferring from casual to full time for the right candidate.

Very attractive hourly rate and working conditions. The fleet of trucks are largely automatic and kept to a high standard of maintenance and reliability. There is on job training to make you feel comfortable in your role. No prior training or experience driving preferred.

Our business is owned and operated by a small family here in Ingham and we control distribution of mill by products from both sugar mills in the Herbert.

We offer flexible 12hr shift rosters (you get paid for all meal breaks, so you get paid the full 12hr shift).

Rosters available can range from 4 days on 3 days off, up to 13 days on and 1 day off depending on your own personal motivation and capability. Ideally at the moment we are looking for someone happy to work a straight night shift position, 4 - 5 shifts a week and prepared to work weekends.

Your superannuation will be paid on ALL hours worked, not capped at 38hrs per week and is on top of your hourly rate.

You get paid weekly, every Tuesday.

The shifts are 24hrs and the night shift roll starts 4pm and finishes 4am - so you're in bed before the sun comes up!

You do not need to be familiar with the district

Your shifts do not drag out, no matter what after 12hrs you go home.

The team is leading innovation in this field with newly designed spreading systems.

The job is something different to the everyday truck driving position so if you are qualified and looking for a change this may be the job you're looking for.

To be qualified for the position:

- You must have your HR or HC truck license

- You must be able to work shift work

- You must be able to work well with others

- You must be able to communicate well with others

- You must be willing to undergo a police background check
