HR Concrete Truck Driver - Recruitment Day – 7th June 2025

Hymix Australia has multiple opportunities across metro Brisbane across our concrete plants at Windsor, Narangba, Springwood & Cleveland.

We are hosting a recruitment morning on Saturday 7th June 2025 at Windsor.

If you have a HR Licence then please apply below. Full training provided and no prior Agitator experience necessary.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to:

Learn about the role and meet our hiring managers.

Jump in a truck and if interested come for a drive with one our trainer/assessors.

About the role:

Rates: $29.64 per hour plus penalties per hour plus penalties (rate X 1.5 after 6hrs on a Monday, & after 8 hours Tuesday - Friday, rate X 2.0 after 10 hours). (In November, Rate increases to $30.97)

Most days will start between 4:30am and 6:30am and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 - 55 hours per week. Saturday work is generally available, paid at overtime rates

Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift

We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads

All new starts go through a 10-day training program.

About you:

Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)

You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite

You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck

Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Hymix Australia and Heidelberg Materials sites)
