About the role

Brisbane Dental Anaesthetic Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Anaesthetic and/or PACU Registered Nurse. We are offering part-time and casual roles based in Chermside, Queensland. What you'll be doing

Caring for patients in the perioperative and postoperative environment

Monitoring patients' vital signs and administering medications as prescribed

Collaborating with the Anaesthetist to ensure the safe delivery of anaesthetic services

Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records

Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of the anaesthetic

Caring for patients throughout their perioperative journey from admission to discharge

Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to healthcare regulations and protocols

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a current Australian nursing license

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an anaesthetic or PACU nursing role

Demonstrated skills in patient monitoring, medication administration, and managing post-operative care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team

Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
