About the role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team at Happy Faces Child Care in Roselands, NSW. As a Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator , you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and early education to the children at Happy Faces. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, physical, social and emotional development

At times you may be required to observe and document children's progress.

Establishing and maintaining nurturing, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues

Ensuring a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment

Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies and procedures

Participating in team meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification

Demonstrated experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a long day care or preschool setting

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Creativity and a passion for providing high-quality early childhood education

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
