Electrical Trainer - High Voltage, Hazardous Areas & Instrumentation NSW

Volt Edge is seeking qualified Trainers and Assessors to deliver exceptional training in the Electrical Training field. We specialise in High Voltage (HV), Hazardous Areas (EEHA), Instrumentation, and other industry-relevant courses. Positions are available on a casual or contractor basis in Sydney.

The Role

As a Trainer and Assessor, you will:

Deliver comprehensive training and assessment materials provided by Volt Edge.

Use our online LMS system to assess theory work and provide feedback.

Conduct hands-on training and simulated work experiences.

Offer constructive feedback to help students build practical skills, employability, and life skills.

Training Areas (candidate to meet at least 2 of the areas preferred):

High Voltage Switching (HV)

Hazardous Areas (EEHA)

Instrumentation (Cert III & IV)

Solar & Battery Systems

QTP & QBP

Refrigeration (Cert II & III)

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122) or higher qualification in Adult & Vocational Education.

Current experience teaching HV and/or EEHA, with the ability to teach additional courses.

A personable and engaging training style with exceptional communication skills.

Ability to adapt learning resources and assessment tools to meet compliance and student needs.

Advanced English written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in using online learning systems and technology.

Flexibility to travel occasionally within the state or interstate.
