What will the role involve?

This has the potential to be a very dynamic role. You will play a vital role in supporting our production after the product is made. From picking and packing products for different orders & preparing them for delivery, to helping with warehouse operations by accurately supporting flow of products. You will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling customer orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.

In this role you will be doing a range of different things, if we were to give a “snapshot”, the role would look something like:

Receive picking instructions and review order lists to identify the items to be picked.

Locate items in the production space.

Select appropriate packaging materials (e.g., boxes, bubble wrap, packing peanuts) based on the size, fragility, and nature of the items.

Ensure accurate item selection, paying attention to quantity, size, and product specifications, checking items for defects/damage/incorrect labelling before they go out.

Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.

Stock audit to ensure appropriate levels of stock to order ratio.

Follow quality control procedures to ensure that only high-quality products are selected for shipping.

Assist in maintaining warehouse organisation of products in line with production and customer needs to support flow.

Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

Assist in ensuring accurate, complete and organised documentation for each shipment.

Adhere to all safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications and Experience:

Ability to use a pallet jack.

Experience in picking and packing (desirable).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Proficient and comfortable in use of technology.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
