Junior Contract Administrator/Project Support
Acron Building Services are seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to take on this critical position on our staff on a full-time basis, working within the fit-out, refurbishment building industry. The ideal candidate is to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and basic analytical skills. This role will have to opportunity for further future growth for a driven candidate.
Duties & responsibilities:
Development of subcontractor scope of works and contracts/purchase orders
Assist in contract document review, distribute specific project information to relevant stake holders
Prepare and assist in RFI, ITP, EOT’s, client variations, and subcontractor variation
Assist in procurement
Collect and issue project handover documentation
Providing Project support to the Operations Team within time constraints
Assist and review subcontractor invoices and create client invoices
Assist and update financial records/budgets
Assist in compiling and preparing tender documents, request for tenders from subcontractor’s and recommendations for award of contract
Gather and organize data relevant to project cost estimations (e.g., material costs, labor rates, vendor quotes).
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets.
Daily supervision and management of subcontractor scheduled contract of works to meet project milestones and delivery dates.
· Coordinate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
Experience & attributes:
Completed or near-completion of a relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Cert 3 or f 4 in building trade or a related discipline
Prior experience with a reputable mid-tier organisation is advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Commercial or Aged Care projects experience is highly regarded
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Keen understanding of quality control measures
· Experience with project management software (e.g., Aroflo, Microsoft Project) is a plus.
Strong and motivated work ethic with honesty & integrity
