My client is a highly reputable insurance firm with an outstanding culture created through their values.

They are at an exciting time for the company as they embark on a large Digital Transformation program which will touch all of their technology offering. And due to the pipeline of work required, they are actively looking to bring in a DevOps Engineer that can work alongside a Solution Architect to build and deliver environments within Azure Cloud.

This role is initially contract for 6 months, with a view to extend beyond and then transition to a permanent role down the line.

Key skills required:

• Experience working as Cloud/DevOps Engineer for 3+ years building & testing environments on Azure Cloud.
• Experience working on Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Technical skills in Azure Bicep Templates, Azure DevOps, VNets, Private End Points, Private Links, App Service Environment, App Gateway, API Management Gateway, Security conscious (knowledge of firewalls).
• Ability to assist in design and then deliver according to architecture.
• Project based mentality: ability to work under pressure, self driven, meeting tight deadlines, following key instructions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to speak with non technical stakeholders.
• Health Insurance background would be a bonus but non essential.
• Can work from Sydney office 3 days per week.
