My client, a well-established and privately-owned Australian civil & infrastructure construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join their team in Sydney. This role will support the planning and delivery of a range of civil infrastructure and urban development projects across the region.

About the Role:

The Senior Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. The role involves working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to support effective planning and risk management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and updating project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6.
• Monitoring progress and advising on potential delays or issues.
• Supporting project controls and reporting functions.
• Providing guidance and support to junior planning staff where required.

About You:

• Previous experience in a planning role within the civil construction or infrastructure sector.
• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6 or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage competing deadlines.
