This favorable national civil contractor is a leading Tier 2 contractor with a focus predominantly on structures across Main Roads projects. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry, this contactor is experienced across multiple disciplines including roads, earthworks, drainage and concrete structures.

They have a number of major TMR projects valued anywhere between $50M - $400M across QLD. Due to the continued work being secured, they are currently looking to secure a Safety Advisor with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, with a strong focus across TMR or similar civil infrastructure projects. This Advisor will initially be based on a $80M Bridge project in Far North QLD, West of Cairns, with a review to travel onto other projects in NQ.

Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will work closely with the workforce, engineers and client ensuring the safe delivery of a $80M bridge and associated civil works all inline with relevant specifications. Site inductions, training and auditing will be part of your everyday responsibilities, you will implement the OH&S system ensuring that safety standards are kept to an ultimate high. To be successful you must have a minimum of 5 years safety advisory experience, ideally across civil infrastructure on main roads projects for a contractor in similar conditions. Must be willing to travel with FIFO/DIDO projects.
