At Design & Build, we’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Advisor to join our client’s growing team, with a strong focus on subdivision projects across the greater Brisbane area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety on subdivision projects, including earthworks, drainage, roadworks, and utilities.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Develop, update, and enforce safety procedures, ensuring the wellbeing of all site workers and contractors.
• Conduct comprehensive safety audits and inspections, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
• Travel between sites across Greater Brisbane

About you

• Proven experience as a Safety Advisor or similar role in civil construction
• Relevant certifications such as Cert IV in WHS or equivalent
• Proven ability to identify hazards and implement effective solutions in fast-moving environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
