• Full Time • 2 years Fixed term • Position is based at the new Study Hubs, Located in Broadmeadows and Epping - incumbents will need to be on site (f2f service provision) • Take your career in exciting, rewarding directions About the position The Study Hub Learning Support Advisors provide academic skills, digital literacy, course and wellbeing support to university students at the Northern Study Hubs, at our locations in Hume and Epping, where the two new centres will open in late June. This position is responsible for delivering tailored learning support, coordinating student engagement activities, and fostering an inclusive and supportive study environment, within the Study Hubs. You will be working collaboratively with university stakeholders, community partners, and students to enhance student participation and success in higher education. Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have: • An undergraduate degree in any area, with at least 4 years subsequent experience in adult learning, student support or higher education environments; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. • Experience in the delivery of high-quality student-centred learning, especially in relation to supporting university transition, student engagement, academic skill development, and course completions. • Strong technology skills and knowledge with demonstrated capacity to effectively utilise the online environment to support student development of skills. • Intercultural understanding and/or multicultural lived experience, particularly in relation to the impacts and expectations these experiences can have on university studies. ?The ability to converse in language/s other than English, would be highly regarded.?
