About the Role:

VU is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Coordinator Academic Support Programs who will ensure the delivery of an exceptional student experience by coordinating and implementing a suite of academic and study skill support programs and initiatives.

In this role, you will liaise and collaborate with a wise range of stakeholders including academic and college staff, TAFE teachers and others to develop and maintain relevant and practical academic support services, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

Contribute to planning, development, implementation and coordination of a comprehensive range of academic support programs and services for domestic and international students across the University and TAFE

Conducting regular assessments and evaluations of academic support programs and student progress outcomes to measure their impact, effectiveness and ongoing relevance

Developing and authoring relevant reports and papers with recommendations as required.

Liaising with University retention programs to assist in developing strategies that identify at-risk students and provide targeted support.

This is a full time continuing position at an HEP 7 classification with the salary range being $97,863 - $105,932 plus 17% superannuation, working 36.75 (1.0 FTE) hours per week.

About You:

We are looking for someone with experience/skills in the development of programs and services to support student learning in a post-secondary education environment.

You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written), and ability to organise and prioritise workload in a busy/demanding environment.

The role will require stakeholder management skills to effectively develop and maintain working relationships with academic and professional staff within the Colleges, TAFE and across the University.
