We are seeking a Groups and Reservations Officer to join our team at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre.
*This is a full time 6-month maternity leave position

Embraced by one of the world's most beautiful locations, the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre is an enticing destination to introduce visitors to both the stunning natural beauty of the Daintree and the rich culture of the Kuku Yalanji people.

You will be a friendly and professional individual who will be greeting our customers and provide current information on tours and information about our Centre as well as making reservations and providing administration support to our operations team.

Key Duties

  • Assist with the day-to-day reservation enquiries, confirmations and bookings for Dreamtime Gorge Walks.
  • Handling of all enquiries at the reception desk (including phone calls)
  • Assist with the distribution and collection of floats/cashier envelopes and other day-to-day resources for the Centre.
  • Boom gate management (allowing guest in and out of our Centre)
  • Other administrative support as required with general office related tasks.

You will have:

  • Experience in Guest Services or Front Office within the Tourism Industry.
  • High level of communication skills and English-speaking skills.
  • The ability to think on the spot and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in financial aspects such as taking payments in person and over the phone.
