About the company:

This client delivers high quality engineering services across Electrical, Controls, & Instrumentation disciplines to the mining & resources industry.

You will report to the engineering manager leading the E&I solutions across projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) solutions for industrial and commercial projects

Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, reports, calculations, and drawings

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to junior engineers and project teams

Collaborate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and optimise engineering solutions

Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrument, Automation, or Software Engineering

Minimum 8 years of electrical & instrumentation experience within the mining, energy or industrial sectors

Strong knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1768, AS/NZS 3000, AS 3800, AS 60076, AS 60079, AS 61439, AS/NZS 61508, AS 61511, etc.) & applicable International Standards

Prior demonstrated experience in HV & LV, instrumentation, automation and control systems

Site-based work experience with commission & troubleshooting
