Mid North Coast

Service Support Manager

We are creating a Talent Pool for future Service Support Manager roles across the Mid North Coast District.

The Talent Pool is valid for a period of up to 18 months and will be used to fill future temporary and ongoing vacancies that may arise

Salary: Grade 5/6 - $97,027 - $107,059 pa plus superannuation and annual leave loading

We have Community Service Centres (CSC's) in the following locations:

  • Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Taree

Your role

The Service Support Manager supervises and leads a team of staff that provide administration support to staff and Community Services clients. The Service Support Manager will plan, manage, monitor and report on the administrative and site management functions of the Community Service Centres CSC(s) and directly undertake some administrative functions, in addition to other duties.

You will supervise a team in the provision of efficient, effective frontline, administrative and site management services. A major aspect of your role is to ensure client focused and consistent high quality service delivery across DCJ CSCs.

  • Experience in managing a team in a high-pressure environment delivering services to vulnerable clients.
  • High level of organisation skills and time management.
  • High level ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Developing team capabilities whilst supporting a culture of integrity and professionalism
  • Working through challenges with flexibility and solution focused outcomes

  • National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
