Nelson Bay Carpet Court are looking for a Full Time Administration/Bookkeeper and Sales Team Member.
Both roles are varied and as such you must be diverse and able to adapt to an ever-changing, high-pressure environment.

We are looking for individuals who are actively looking to continually learn and grow within their working environment.
Sales Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Listen to customer requirements and provide expert advice on products, including carpets, rugs, vinyl, timber flooring, curtains, blinds, and shutters.
Guide customers through the sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase.
Process sales transactions using our POS system.
Maintain showroom appearance and ensure products are displayed effectively.
Maintain Data Entry Requirements/ Price-ticketing etc
Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
Measure rooms and provide accurate quotations.
Previous experience in the flooring industry is not required. You Must be confident in providing In-home Consultations, Taking measurements and drawing/Working out plans to provide customer quotations. You will be taught the skills needed for this though you must be 'Confident with Numbers and on Computers and take Pride and Accountability in your work.
Administration & Bookkeeping Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall bookkeeping of the business, this includes day to day reconciliation, daily financial entries, maintaining accounts payable and receivable and Maintaining Company Records.
Responsible for the financial, administrative and clerical support of the company including Banking and Customer Accounts ensuring payments are completed.
Self-driven, Ability to take charge of your work and use what you've learned to operate independently with Accountability.
