About the role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a Casual Licensed Electrical Assessment (LEA) Assessor to join their team. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work when you're available. The role is based in Heidelberg.

What you'll be doing

Assessing candidates for their Licensed Electrical Assessment (LEA) practical and theory components

Providing detailed and constructive feedback to candidates on their performance

Maintaining accurate records of all assessments carried out

Ensuring all assessments are conducted in line with relevant regulations and standards

Collaborating with the wider education team to continuously improve the assessment process

What we're looking for

A current unrestricted Electrician's Licence with demonstrated experience as a licensed electrician

Extensive knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards

Excellent assessment and feedback skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement

Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to providing high-quality education and assessment services
