Your unique opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Primary Teacher for a short-term full-time maternity leave contract from 14 July to 19 September 2025.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will bring a strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and pedagogical practice. The successful candidate will also be fully aligned with the Christian values and beliefs of Freshwater Christian College, and seek a role providing opportunities to utilise their talents and skills to make a difference in the lives of our students and the wider College community.

Essential qualifications and requirements

Appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching.

Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain).

Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.

Able to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.

Able to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.

Able to work with all members of the College community.

Able to work in Australia without the need for sponsorship.
