Elm Rd Family Clinic Warners Bay is a locally owned and operated clinic which opened in 2021 with the aim of establishing a centre for holistic, patient centred healthcare for the local community. About the role

We are looking for a Registered Practice Nurse experienced in GP.

Your day to day will be assisting General Practitioners in delivering medical services with duties including, but not limited to:

• Immunisations
• ECGs & spirometry
• Wound care/dressings
• Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
• Implementation and practice of infection control
• Patient education
• Maintaining recall and reminder system
• Other general treatment room duties and patient care

Qualifications and experience

• Current AHPRA unrestricted registration
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 12 months nursing experience in a primary care setting
• Experience and knowledge of Care Plans and Health Assessments
• Advanced level of computer skills, experience in Best Practice software (desirable)
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem solving and time management skills
• A sense of urgency
• Proven multi-tasking
• Experience in General Practice nursing preferred
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Caring and collaborative approach to patient care
• Team player
