The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paste Plant Operator to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a high-risk environment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the paste plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring paste plant equipment, conducting regular QAQC tests, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and Monitor Equipment: Ensure continuous and efficient production by operating and monitoring paste plant equipment.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular QAQC tests on paste samples to meet operational specifications.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on pumps, pipelines, and other plant infrastructure.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of plant performance, production rates, and any issues encountered.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Prior experience in paste plant operations or similar processing plant roles.

Technical Skills: Ability to conduct troubleshooting and basic maintenance.

Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a high-risk environment.

Flexibility: During downtime, assist the underground paste crew; underground experience is preferred but not required.

Licensing: Current Manual Driver’s License.

Work Rights: Full Australian Working Rights.
