The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity for an Senior Accountant to further their career and become an integral member of a young and progressive firm. You will be provided mentoring by a CPA to advance your knowledge in Taxation and Business Servicing, as well as the opportunity to manage a client portfolio.

The Position:

Working closely with accounting staff and reporting directly to the business owner you will be involved in:

Providing taxation and planning strategies to clients

Preparation of letters of advice and opinions on multiple range of advisory engagements

Preparation of Tax Returns and Financial Statements for business groups with multiple entities and structure types

Preparation of BAS, IAS & FBT Returns

Liaise regularly with clients on queries relating to taxation compliance

Assist clients with grant submissions

Liaise with the ATO as representative of the firm and firm's clients

Skills & Requirements:

Successful candidate requirements:

3-5yrs experience within public practice

High attention to detail with good time management

Proficient with Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks & Reckon

Experience with Microsoft suite applications

Excellent written and verbal communication and high interpersonal skills

Bachelor degree and working towards CPA/CA qualification
