Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to help design and build high-performance, scalable data processing systems as part of a collaborative, mission-critical team.

Skills and Experience required

• 5+ years in senior software engineering roles.
• Proven commercial experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Kibana, Logstash, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Rancher.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins.
• Experience writing and optimising applications using both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
