About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Dismantler to join our team at Kawana Towing and Wreckers' in North Rockhampton, QLD. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling vehicles to retrieve and process valuable automotive parts for resale.

What you'll be doing

Carefully dismantle and depollute end-of-life vehicles to retrieve reusable parts

Sort, clean, and catalogue retrieved parts for storage and sale

Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with online sales of parts

Operate various hand and power tools to dismantle vehicles

Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Support the wider Automotive Trades team as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in an automotive dismantling or wrecking role

Strong working knowledge of vehicle construction and component identification

Ability to safely operate hand and power tools commonly used in vehicle dismantling

Excellent attention to detail and inventory management skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Flexible and adaptable approach to work

Must have your own tools
