Bistro Elba is a French food and wine focused restaurant in the village of Sorrento, Mornington Peninsula. With a warm welcoming approach to hospitality and a focus on fresh seafood and premium ingredients.

We are looking for a hospitality professional with a passion for the industry, exceptional customer service skills, product knowledge and personal presentation. The role is for someone seeking a permanent long-term assistant restaurant manager position within a great hospitality business that is run and owned by long term hospitality workers. We pride ourselves on the wealth of knowledge and experience of our staff who have worked in and owned some of Victoria's best restaurants. This position would suit someone who is currently already an Assistant Restaurant Manager wanting a role that can provide growth or an experienced Supervisor looking to move up to an Assistant Manager.

About you

Exceptional service skills with sound wine knowledge WSET will be looked upon favourably

Demonstrated management experience in quality restaurant environment

Effective communication skills

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Strong work ethic, punctual and professional

Genuine desire to evolve, adapt and progress your career

Victorian RSA required

Sorrento, VIC 3943: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

Assistant manager: 1 year or Supervisor 2 years wanting to progress

Licence/Certification:

RSA (Required)

WSET Level 2 (Preferred)

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 Negotiable on experience + Tips
