About the role

Our hotel client is seeking an experienced Retail Bottleshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Bottleshop in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. This full-time position reports to the Venue Manager and will see you managing all aspects of a successful Bottleshop, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service, maximising sales and profitability, and developing an engaging team.

Your Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bottleshop, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures

Lead, coach and motivate a team of retail assistants to deliver outstanding customer service and maximise sales

Preparing Displays and presenting stock to Banner Group requirements

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies

Foster a positive, customer-centric culture within the Bottleshop

Maintain the store with a high level of cleanliness and presentation

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in a liquor retail or hospitality management role

Excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to create a positive shopping experience

Strong commercial acumen and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

Thorough understanding of liquor licensing laws and regulations

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work hours of the industry including some nights and weekends

Strong product knowledge of wines, beer, spirits and current liquor trends
