We’re ideally looking for a Full Time Speech Pathologist to meet our ever-growing waitlist demands ideally to start in late May 2025. Full time (over 4 or 5 days) and part time options available to suit early career or experienced clinicians.
We’re a well-established, thriving multi-disciplinary paediatric practice and are looking for a positive and motivated Speech Pathologist to join our team of 12 therapists. We offer leading evidence-based SP intervention approaches to support each child's unique strengths and abilities to help them conquer their challenges and live meaningful lives.

You will have flexibility with your hours, working autonomously, and will have access to in-house training and professional development. You will also receive team support including joint sessions with Occupational Therapists in our sensory gyms, and will join regular SP and multi-disciplinary team meetings.

What the role involves:
Working with private and NDIS clients.
Working in clinic, community, and school environments.
Option to provide Telehealth services.
Providing individual and small group sessions.
Planning and delivering therapy groups during the school terms and holidays.
Providing joint therapy sessions with occupational therapists in our sensory gyms. Expand your understanding of and ability to support children with sensory, communication and behaviour challenges.
Providing assessment and evidence-based therapy across a range of speech pathology areas including early intervention, speech, language, literacy, Autism, fluency and feeding.
Writing assessment and review reports including reports for NDIS.
Working in a wholesome family centred environment.

In house PD – we have regular OT meetings to discuss case studies, new research and we choose the topics that interest us and our caseloads best! We also meet regularly for multidisciplinary meetings as part of our in-house PD and clinical management.

What you must have:
Recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
Registration with SPA with CPSP credentials.
Visa with working rights for Australia for at least 12 months.
Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
Drivers Licence and own vehicle.
Minimum 2 Years clinical SP paediatric experience.
Excellent organisation, time and case management skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
Effective and confident communication skills and ability to develop strong rapport with children, parents, teachers and carers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development.
What’s nice to have:
Experience working with children with complex needs including Autism.
Early language intervention, articulation and phonology, stuttering, and social skills experience highly desirable.
Formal training in therapy approaches such as PROMPT, CUED articulation, DTTC / Nuffield, fluency approaches (Lidcombe, Oakville), Keyword Sign, Hanen training, GLP, DIR/Floortime, literacy interventions
Experience working within preschool and school-based environments
Experience working with a family centred treatment model.
