About the role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant at Ascent Rehabilitation Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in helping individuals recover from injuries, illnesses or disabilities. This full-time position, based in Canberra ACT 2600, involves developing and implementing tailored rehabilitation plans to support our clients' recovery and reintegration into their daily lives. This is for an entry level role, no industry experience is required - new graduates are encouraged to apply!

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs

Collaborating with clients, their families and healthcare professionals to create customised rehabilitation plans

Implementing evidence-based interventions, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy and counselling

Advocating for solutions and liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless rehabilitation process

Providing education and support to clients and their families throughout the rehabilitation journey

Continuously developing your professional knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality, innovative rehabilitation services

What we're looking for

A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology or registered nurses

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families and healthcare professionals

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

A passion for empowering individuals to achieve their maximum potential and live fulfilling lives
