About the role

Eastbrooke Medical Centre Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant/Tech to join our team in Essendon North, Victoria. This is a full-time position, with some flexibility in the number of hours/days to work, offering an opportunity to contribute to the efficient and patient-focused operations of our busy community pharmacy.

What you'll be doing

Assist in dose administration aid blister packing

Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications

Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of pharmaceutical supplies

Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering their questions and addressing their needs

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations

Support the pharmacist in the delivery of professional services such as medication reviews

Contribute to the smooth running of the pharmacy by performing various administrative duties

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Technician is preferrable but not essential

Reliability and strong work ethic considered essential

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately process and maintain patient records

Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and computer systems

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

A genuine interest in healthcare and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
