About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our dynamic team at Moonee Ponds Pharmacy & Lotto in Moonee Ponds, VIC. As a full-time Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our pharmacy. Applicants MUST be available to work Monday, Friday and another day during the week.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner

Providing information on a range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products

Accurately processing sales transactions and handling cash and payments

Maintaining stock levels and ensuring the pharmacy is well-organised and presentable

Assisting the Pharmacist with various administrative and clerical tasks

Participating in ongoing training to enhance your knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer service role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in helping others

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately

Proficiency in using computers and pharmacy software systems

A team-oriented attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt

A friendly, patient and professional demeanour
