About the role:

These two roles provide efficient and confidential administrative support in a range of areas relating to the effective operation of the Safer Communities Department specifically the Environmental Health and Building Surveying sections. Knowledge and experience with Building Permits and statutory timeframes for lodging building applications, experience in using Pathways, ECM, Trapeze and Mail Merge experience would be desirable as you undertake administrative duties to provide clerical support to both the Building and Health teams. You will be answering incoming calls to the department and responding to general queries, taking messages and transferring calls to the appropriate officers.

About you:

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated and highly skilled administrator who will have organisation and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. You will be a detail orientated individual with excellent planning and scheduling skills who can multi-task and enjoys a fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable working independently, but you will also be within a team.

Experience working in a Local Government, with customer service and good collaboration skills would be advantageous. You will be someone with a commitment to providing high quality service and support which is vital to our business and community.
