About Us:

Playful Learners is a small, family owned centre committed to providing high-quality care and enriching experiences for children in Out of School Hours Care. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic OSHC Lead Educator to lead and manage our OSHC program.

The Role:

As the OSHC Lead Educator, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a fun, safe, and stimulating program for school aged children. You will lead a small team of Educators and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging programs for before and after school care and holiday care

Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children

Lead and support a team of OSHC Educators

Build positive relationships with children, families, and the school community

Manage day-to-day operations including staff rosters and reporting

Maintain compliance with National Quality Framework and relevant legislation

What We’re Looking For:

A Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent) or working towards relevant qualifications

Experience in a similar role within an OSHC or early childhood setting

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Current Working with Children Card

First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications

Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and My Time, Our Place Framework
