Location: Hybrid (Central West NSW) | Part-time: 15 hrs/week | Contract role
Remuneration: $33,450 TRP ($30,000 salary + 11.5% super)

About Us
Destination Central West NSW (DNCW) is one of seven Destination Networks delivering on the NSW Government’s Visitor Economy Strategy 2030. Our region includes 12 vibrant LGAs: Lachlan, Parkes, Forbes, Cowra, Weddin, Orange, Blayney, Cabonne, Mid-Western, Bathurst, Oberon and Lithgow.
We work closely with Destination NSW, local government, tourism businesses, industry associations and communities to boost the region’s visitor economy. Our work covers industry development, product enhancement, grants assistance, strategic planning, regional marketing and stakeholder engagement.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Projects & Business Support Officer provides core administrative support and helps coordinate project delivery across our region.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You’ll support high-quality internal operations while engaging with tourism stakeholders and supporting project delivery that helps shape the region’s tourism future.
· Key responsibilities include:
· Supporting the GM and team with administration, communications and project coordination.
· Assisting with finance, reporting, board documentation and meeting logistics.
· Managing stakeholder databases and online platforms (website, CRM, social media, e-news).
· Contributing to industry engagement activities, training support and project implementation.
About You
· We’re seeking someone with:
· Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in administration, communications or tourism.
· Experience supporting executive or management-level staff in a dynamic environment.
· High-level communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Strong proficiency with MS Office, CRMs, CMS platforms and digital tools.
· Knowledge of the visitor economy, and an understanding of government and tourism sector structures.
· A customer-focused, team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision.
Essential:
Current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle for regional travel.
