🔧 Your Role

As a Scrub Nurse with A Plus Nursing, you will play a vital role in perioperative care, assisting surgeons and maintaining sterile environments during surgical procedures. You will have the flexibility to choose your shifts while working across top-tier facilities in Adelaide and regional SA.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

Assist in theatre across various specialties: Orthopaedics, ENT, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, Endoscopy, and more

Maintain strict adherence to infection control and aseptic technique

Set up and handle surgical instruments and equipment

Work closely with surgical and anaesthetic teams to ensure smooth procedures

Deliver compassionate pre- and post-operative patient care

✅ What You Need

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Scrub/Scout role

Sound knowledge of operating theatre protocols

Strong interpersonal and clinical decision-making skills

Flexibility to adapt to different hospitals and teams

Proof of vaccinations as per health sector requirements
