About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic psychiatrist to step into a senior clinical leadership position within a developing Infant, Child, and Youth (ICY) Service, supporting young people aged 0–25 years of age. Working in close partnership with the Head of ICY Psychiatry and the Clinical Director of Mental Health & Wellbeing, you will play a pivotal role in driving the ongoing development and improvement of the service, ensuring it remains responsive and aligned with the evolving needs and expectations of service users.

The successful applicant will be working as part of a cohesive multidisciplinary team committed to safe, effective, and compassionate care. You will be providing high-quality, evidence-based clinical care while supporting the development of the Infant, Child, and Youth (ICY) Service. You will lead and manage senior clinicians and junior medical staff, ensuring patient care is delivered in a person-centred, safe, and effective manner, with a strong focus on recovery-based outcomes. As a key clinical leader, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement through service monitoring and active involvement in policy and process development. The role also requires adherence to organisational policies and participation in the on-call roster.
