As a Bus Driver / Utility at Cater Care Australia, you will play a vital role in the CCS Operations at our new contract site in NSW . This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and providing exceptional service. This role is based on 14/7 roster and ideal candidates will be driving or catching the bus in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely transport employees to and from designated locations in accordance with established schedules

- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the bus to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for passengers

- Assist with general utility tasks as required, which may include facility maintenance, cleaning, and other duties (housekeeping / kitchen utility duties) to support operational efficiency

- Adhere to all relevant regulations and company policies governing transportation operations.

- Operate the bus in a responsible manner, prioritising passenger safety at all times

- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance needs or safety concerns

- Provide courteous and professional assistance to passengers as needed during transit

- Collaborate with the CCS Operations team to contribute to the overall success of the site

What our Ideal candidate will have:

• Valid and current Australian Manual Driver's Licence and White Card
• Proven experience as a bus driver, preferably in remote or regional areas
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of vehicles and equipment
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to passengers
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people
• Flexibility to take on utility tasks as required, such as basic maintenance and cleaning duties
• Adherence to company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and environmental guidelines
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic work environment
