Qualifications & experience

· Construction industry white card

· EWP ticket

· RF Hazard Awareness Training

· Flexibility in working hours and able to work away for 1 to 3 weeks at a time.

· Decision making and problem solving skills

Tasks & responsibilities

· Completing risk assessments

· Participating in team prestart and site toolbox talks

· Decommissioning old/redundant equipment such as radios, panel antennas, tower mast amplifiers, microwave antennas, steelwork from height i.e. from top of lattice towers, monopoles, guyed masts and roof tops, removing redundant cables (coaxial feeders and hybrid trunk cables).

· Installation of various types of steel work associated with telecommunications, installation of new equipment

· Reading and interpretation of build plans to determine work being carried out is as per specifications.

· Installation of cable trays on monopoles, lattice towers and roof tops

· Running and installing cables up lattice towers and monopoles and dressing them to industry standards

· Apply earthing principles to all necessary materials, equipment and cables as per industry standards

· Trouble shooting various faults/alarms that may arise.

· Capturing photos of completed work to submit as part of Hand over pack

· Able to do overtime when necessary
