The Role: We are seeking a committed and passionate individual to support our Regenerative and Sustainability farming practices. The farm manager will work with the restaurant team to deliver the restaurant's Paddock to plate program.

Additionally supporting the Brewery and Venue teams with general property maintenance and landscaping. You will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of the Restaurant, Beer Garden, Brewery and Residences (2). You will also work with the Brewing team to irrigate the brewery waste water into our paddocks.

Responsibilities:

Managing the Farming Operations on our 70 acre property and support the Venue and Brewing teams with general property maintenance and landscaping

Undertake regenerative farming practices to improve soil health and biodiversity. Grow feed for livestock.

Facilitate transport of stock, product, and equipment deliveries.

Operate farm equipment including chainsaws, power tools, forklift, Z turn mower and tractors.

Whole farm planning including seeding, cropping and strip grazing

Oversee general farm tasks, including feeding of livestock, fence and land maintenance.

Oversee livestock breeding program; Lowline Beef - AI, Wilti Pol- Stud, vaccination and facilitate veterinary care when required

General landscaping including irrigation, garden, and lawn maintenance: Brewery, Farm, Venue and Residences (2)

Provide deliveries or pick up of equipment and items to various teams and locations within the South west area.

Property maintenance including general building maintenance : Brewery, Farm, Venue and Residences (2)

Be a key team member in site safety.

Support brewery team in management and maintenance of the waste water irrigation system

Qualifications:

Current Forklift ticket.

Current C Class Driver’s licence (manual).

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role.

Trade background

Fit and able to complete the role.

Capacity to prioritize and organize multiple tasks.

Extensive farming and machinery experience.

Knowledge of farm record keeping.

Familiarity with regenerative farming practices and their implementation.

Computer literate with the ability to produce records and reports.

Experience with Safety Culture & Microsoft Office Suite
