Overview:

Peak Education is a leading WA high school tutoring company for Year 10 to 12 students. We specialise in WACE Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. An exciting opportunity exists for a Maths and/or Physics tutor to join our talented and passionate academic team!

We are currently hiring for two roles.

Role Description:

Y11/ Y12 Mathematics Applications, Methods and/or Specialist and/or Chemistry Tutor

• Deliver weekly group classes throughout the school term (all lesson materials and resources are provided for you)
• Mark weekly quizzes
• Recognise and flag struggling students to the academic director

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for tutoring and helping others succeed
• Extensive knowledge in WACE Y11/12 Mathematics Methods and/or Mathematics Specialist and/or Physics
• Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communications skills
• Ability to commit to an agreed upon fixed day every week throughout Term

Desirable

• Past high achieving Math Methods/ Specialist/ Physics student (+80% performance)
• University students studying in the field of Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics
• Post graduate students, sessional academics

What is most important is that you are a clear, concise and enthusiastic communicator with a good grasp of the subject matter. We will supplement that knowledge with our own teaching materials, and training support!
