SKY HSC College, located in Strathfield (NSW), specialises in supporting and educating high school students from Years 7 to 12 in preparation for the HSC. We offer expert tutoring across a range of subjects, including all levels of Mathematics, English, Physics, and Chemistry.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking passionate and experienced English Teachers to join our progressive and supportive team. Positions are available on a part-time, casual, or temp-to-perm basis and involve teaching both individual and group lessons.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for educators who:

Have at least 2 years of experience teaching English for Years 7–12 (including EAL/D, Standard, Advanced, Extension 1, and Extension 2)

Can effectively develop, implement and evaluate the current NESA English curriculum

Are available to work at least 3 days a week

Are comfortable teaching both one-on-one and group classes

Preferred Qualifications

Current accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA), or

A degree (or current enrolment) in Secondary Education with a major in English or a related field

All candidates must consent to or have a current a Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Interview Process
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to:

A formal interview with our hiring manager

A 1:1 trial lesson with a student, where you will deliver a 1-hour English lesson
