Diploma of Early Childhood

We are looking for someone with a passion for interacting with children and creating dynamic learning experiences. A qualification in Montessori is desirable but a willingness to adopt the Montessori philosophy and principles is essential. Training in Montessori will be available.

Southern Cross Montessori is a family-owned Long day care centre. Our program caters for 28 children per day and we have built a small team of educators to work in an environment like no other.

Our classroom is home-like with lots of natural light. Our classroom provides opportunities for children to feel fulfilled and develop in a balanced way, making for a rich learning environment. We are committed to excellence in childcare and to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children.

We are currently looking to recruit qualified Diploma of Early Childhood Educators for a full time and part time positions, with shifts ranging from 7:45am starts to 6:30pm finishes.

Every shift you will receive non contact time to complete your duties

The successful applicant will

Have a Diploma in Early Childhood or Children’s Services

Hold a current Working With Children Check

Current 1st Aid, Anaphylaxis and CPR

Current Police Criminal History Check

Be committed to deliver a high-quality education and NQS quality indicators

Be innovative, creative and motivated

Professional in manner and appearance

Have the ability to display initiative and be proactive
