Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley is a successful 4.5 star hotel comprising 200 guest rooms, restaurant/bar & conference facilities, situated in a bustling business district and at the gateway of the Dandenong Ranges.

What you'll be doing:

Work in a dynamic team whilst developing a solid knowledge of kitchen operations.

Provide services above and beyond following brand standards for customer satisfaction and retention.

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.

Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.

Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.

Assist and liaise with chef on duty as required.

Your experience and skills include:

Demonstrate a genuine passion for Food and Beverage, and drive to succeed in a hospitality career

Customer service driven and have the capacity to multi task

Cope well under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines

Available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays

Have the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
