About the role

We are seeking an experienced stainless steel and aluminium fabricator and welder to join our highly skilled team at Wicked Fabrications Pty Ltd. This fulltime position is based in our workshop in Coomera, Queensland. As a Stainless Steel and Aluminium Fabricator/Welder, you will play a critical role in the production and assembly of high-quality fabricated metal products for our diverse range of commercial and industrial clients.

What you'll be doing

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and blueprints to fabricate components to specification
• Operate welding equipment to join metal components using MIG, TIG and stick welding techniques
• Carry out metal cutting, forming, fitting and finishing processes using a variety of hand and power tools
• Assemble, fit and finish fabricated metal components and products
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting quality and safety requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement processes and provide feedback to enhance manufacturing processes

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a stainless steel and aluminium fabricator/welder
• Strong proficiency in MIG, TIG and stick welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and documentation
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and finishing processes including cutting, bending, forming and fitting
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet production deadlines
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
