Busabout Wagga is a family owned business that has been operating public transport and charter services since 1951. Busabout Wagga is today the operator of all the scheduled route services in this City, including all the services for Charles Sturt University. With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dynamic Receptionist and Customer Service Representative to join our team at the depot.

About The Role: As an Receptionist and Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our depot operations, ensuring efficient administrative support and delivering exceptional operational support and customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

Manage visitor and employee enquiries by directing them to the appropriate personnel

Provide advice in a constructive and professional manner including general enquiries about routes, timetables and school buses

Assist in school student eligibility and bus pass applications

Enter data into the company’s management systems

Assist with filing and archiving as required

Receiving Charters quotes and communicating and working with the Operations Manager to confirm bookings.

Assisting with general administration duties as required, eg: Staff Uniform

Assist with counting and reconcile cash banking

Perform general administrative duties as required, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations.

Requirements:

Previous experience in administration and customer service roles, preferably in the transportation industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with passengers and colleagues.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Intermediate proficiency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word.

A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times.
