From our humble beginnings in Fitzroy in February 2016, to now having four stores across Melbourne. Mile End is becoming a much loved Melbourne brand built on the philosophy of “going the extra mile” with the simple goal of providing consistent hospitality to all of our customers.

With our current plan to expand Mile End into Sydney next year, we are seeking passionate hospitality leaders with the ability to guide our teams of fantastic staff, in the position of Shift Supervisor.

In your role, you will report directly to the Store Manager, driving the business forward and overseeing the successful running of daily shifts. As an established customer service leader, we want to see you lead by example and be hands on with your teams, supporting them to be the best they can be and delivering positive customer experiences every day.

As a Shift Supervisor, your role will involve –

Promoting a positive, customer focused work culture.

Managing customer experiences.

Managing labour as required on shifts.

Assisting with ongoing staff training.

Stock rotation and ordering.

Maintaining and following policies & standard operating procedures

What are we looking for?

Proven leadership experience either a fast-paced hospitality, or retail environment.

Excellent presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail.

Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

Ability to work a flexible rotating roster including weekends & public holidays.

A profound obsession with customer service and someone driven by results.
