What we need:

We're on the hunt for an assistant manager with buzz and a dream to make a mark in our flagship destination store at Ashmore on the Gold Coast.

As the assistant manager you'll be supporting team, creating the daily buzz and ensuring our customers continue to know we're the bee's knees in all things kitchenware and organisation.

In the hive you'll:

Support the store and team with your high energy, enthusiasm, ideas and get in and do it attitude

Make a change everyday. Adapt to an evolving retail environment, keep on top of retail trends and make moves.

Prioritise exceptional customer service. Ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. No KPIs!

Sharing a love for kitchen organisation and a passion for helping customers problem solve their needs

Managing daily inventory levels and liaise with the warehouse team to ensure stock availability

Upholding store presentation and ensuring all visual merchandising standards are met

Cash handling and processing POS transactions, preorders, refunds and sales

Who we're looking for:

Management experience in similar retail environment

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills

Visual merchandising ideas that excite

A love of social media and retail trends

Ability to work autonomously

A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making

Available to work across a 7 day roster. Must be available to work weekends, and have full December and January availability. Able to meet the demands of the store during peak 'back to school' season
